| Pictures and details of ten 85ft brewing vessels being delivered to St James’ Gate brewery in Dublin on Wednesday morning were released to media today.
The vessels are capable of holding just under one million pints at a single time and were transported by police-escorted convoy through Dublin city centre. This is the first of four deliveries which will take place throughout February and March, with a total of 27 new vessels due to be delivered. The arrival of the vessels is part of the €153 expansion and re-development of the St James’ Gate Brewery. Construction of the project started in early summer 2012 and the new brewhouse will start producing beer in June 2013. |
